From Japan's oldest malt whisky distillery comes a single malt built entirely on Golden Promise barley, the storied grain behind many classic Scotch whiskies of the 1960s and 70s. Suntory's blenders matured this Yamazaki release exclusively in American oak, drawing out barley gold color, sweet malt and honey on the nose, and a rich palate of orange marmalade and custard that finishes long, sweet, and citrus-bright. Part of the Tsukuriwake collection, it's a pour for slow, contemplative sipping neat or with a single large cube.
