Finished in Virgin Oak: This 15-year-old whisky has been carefully finished in a virgin oak cask, which impart a subtle sweetness and creamy texture, enriching the whisky with flavors of vanilla and coconut. This is not the norm for Scotland, thus this was checked routinely to ensure the whiskey didn’t get “over-oaked”.
