The Vale Fox Distillery teamed with Hudson Valley couple Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton on MF Bonfire, steeping two-year-old straight rye with Lapsang Souchong tea, chosen by Harney & Sons, for a wisp of real smoke rather than peat. Honey and rye spice lead, with a nutty, black-pepper finish at 90 proof. Pour it neat, over a big cube, or into an Old Fashioned that wants a campfire edge.
