The name comes from Prohibition-era rum-runner Bill McCoy, who sailed unadulterated Caribbean spirits into New York and became bartender shorthand for the genuine article — no watered-down "hooch." This 3 Year is distilled and aged at Barbados's Foursquare Distillery under master distiller Richard Seale, made with nothing but rum, Barbados spring water, and time. Expect vanilla and nutmeg on the nose, buttery caramel and toasted coconut on the palate, into a long, warm finish. Pour it into a daiquiri or sip it over ice.
