Overview

Berry Bros. & Rudd created this in 1903 for Edward VII to carry in a flask on cold open-top drives, and still bottle it from 3 St James's Street. Macerated ginger root with a lift of lemon zest — gold, sweet and genuinely hot with it. Reformulated to 29.9% in 2020. Neat and cold, or lengthened with soda.
