The Irishman Irish Cream Liqueur comes from Walsh Whiskey in County Carlow, Ireland, where the family distillery blends its own Irish whiskey with fresh Irish dairy cream rather than a neutral spirit base — a distinguishing production choice among Irish creams. Natural vanilla and a hint of toffee round out the recipe. Expect a rich, creamy pour with milk chocolate and buttery toffee up front, easing into gentle whiskey warmth and a soft coffee finish. Pour it over ice, stir into hot coffee, or use as a dessert cocktail base.
Tasting notes
Classic cream liqueur notes with a dose of sweet Irish whisky and a little stewed coffee at the back. Massively creamy with a whisky-ness mid-palate. Slips down very easily and leaves a warming glow.
