More Info

Owned by Picard Vins & Spiritueux the Tullibardine Highland Distillery was set up to produce a light, nutty malt which was mostly used when young and aged in refill casks for buyer-own blends. Bottled at 48.9% abv as part of the The Firkin Whisky Co. Limited Edition Single Cask Series.Only 306 bottles were produced for worldwide distribution.

★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ 4/5 AI Rating

The Firkin Whisky Co.'s Tullibardine 2012 is a carefully matured single malt that spent time in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels before a combined Oloroso sherry and Amontillado sherry finish, producing a layered Highland malt with floral highlights, nuttiness, and rich dried fruit complexity that independent bottling enthusiasts celebrate. Reviewers appreciate the thoughtful cask selection and how it showcases Tullibardine's evolving house style. An excellent value from one of the more underappreciated Highland distilleries.
