Overview

Speyside malt matured in American oak, then moved into French oak casks that previously held Pineau des Charentes, the Charentais blend of unfermented grape juice and Cognac spirit. That second maturation layers candied fruit, honey and ginger over the distillery's soft orchard-fruit core, with lemon rind and vanilla on the finish.
