Terrazas de los Andes builds this Malbec from three high-altitude Mendoza vineyards — Los Chacayes, Paraje Altamira, and Las Compuertas — each contributing something different: dark berries and fresh herbs from up near 1,250 meters, violet and plum from the lower slopes. Twelve months in French oak rounds it into silky tannins and a faint toasted edge, with bright acidity keeping it lifted rather than heavy.
