Tequila Solarum - Tequila Anejo
Born in the red soils of Arandas, Jalisco, Tequila Solarum is a celebration of tradition, purity, and craftsmanship. Each expression — Plata, Reposado, and Añejo — is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, cultivated under the bright sun and clear skies of the Jalisco Highlands, where altitude and climate lend the agave its distinctive sweetness and character.
Our process honors time-honored methods: slow-cooking the agave to reveal its natural honeyed essence, carefully distilling to preserve its purity, and — in the case of our aged tequilas — resting in select American oak barrels to enhance complexity and depth.
VISUAL PHASE:
Light amber with bright golden reflections and great body, the result of 12 months of aging in American oak.
AROMATIC PHASE:
Cooked agave predominates, along with oak wood, dried fruits, and a hint of honey.
PALATE:
Sweet flavor with notes of butter, maple syrup, and caramel; creamy and smooth texture, with a marked presence of toasted oak and hints of leather, tobacco, and cocoa.
