Here's an extra anejo that leans into its four years in wood without losing the agave underneath. Tepozan comes from San Julian in the Jalisco highlands (NOM 1584), made by master distiller Don Carlos Padilla from estate-grown agave and confirmed additive-free by Tequila Matchmaker. Forty-eight months in ex-bourbon barrels bring oak, cooked agave, toasted coconut, and soft leather on the nose, then salted caramel and warm baking spice across a rich palate. Pour it neat or over one big cube; it also deepens an Old Fashioned beautifully.
