Here's a rosé Champagne with a Chardonnay backbone: Telmont's Réserve Rosé is 87% Chardonnay and 13% Meunier, tinted pink by still red wine from estate grapes in Damery. Vinified in stainless steel and rested about five years in the cellars, it's a Brut with a gentle 8.4 g/L dosage. Expect fresh red fruits and buttered brioche on the nose, bursting Morello cherry on the palate, and a long finish. Pour it around 7°C alongside a wedge of Parmesan.
