Taconic Distillery's Single Malt Whiskey is made from 100% New York State grain and hand-bottled at the distillery's Stanfordville farm in the Hudson Valley. The specialty malt lends notes of chocolate, toasted nuts, and raisin, while a minimum three years in new charred American oak barrels rounds things out with caramel and coconut. It's rich enough to sip neat but structured enough to hold its own in an Old Fashioned — pour it slow and let the malt sweetness open up.
Tasting notes
Made with 100% New York State Grains, this Single Malt is deep and rich in flavor. This specialty malt contributes notes of chocolate, pastries, nuts, sweet caramel and raisins. The maturation in the new casks brings out hints of caramel and coconut.
