Star & Key is an award winning single estate rum from the far side of the world.

It is made with fresh cane juice to capture the terroir of Mauritius, a paradise island in the Indian Ocean.

Mauritius is known as the star & key of the Indian Ocean. An isolated island paradise with turquoise waters, white beaches and dramatic mountains rising straight out of the ocean.

We make our rums in a distillery nestled in the lush landscape on one of the Island's oldest estates.

Fresh passion fruit

To capture the terroir of Mauritius, everything is grown, harvested, distilled and aged on the estate.

Our Passion Fruit Rum enjoys two years of tropical aging in Cognac and Bourbon casks before being infused with fresh passion fruit grown in the estate's orchards.

It is the tropical paradise of Mauritius... in a bottle. It mixes well, holding its own in complex cocktails, and is great for adding a more tropical dimension to classic rum cocktails.

Daiquiri

Or "Ti' Punch" as the Mauritians call it, is the most common way they drink their rum on the island.

Ingredients.

2 oz PASSION FRUIT RUM

1 oz LIME JUICE

3/4 oz DEMERARA SUGAR SYRUP

1 LIME WHEEL garnish

Method.

Shake with ice and double strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lime twist or wheel. For extra flair coat the rim with demerara sugar.
