Named after a legendary horse that could cover seven leagues without tiring, Siete Leguas has been distilling in the Highlands of Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco since 1952, when Ignacio González Vargas built the family distillery on traditional copper pot stills and a slow two-step distillation. This reposado rests eight months in American oak, opening with cooked agave, toasted oak, and baked apple, then settling into citrus and herbal spice on the palate. Pour it neat or shake into a Paloma.
