Segal Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a dry red wine from Israel's Upper Galilee, made largely from grapes grown in the Dishon Vineyard in the Kadesh Valley at roughly 430 meters elevation. After harvest, the wine spends about fourteen months aging in a mix of French and American oak, building layers of blackberry, cherry, and cassis around a backbone of cedar and baking spice, with soft, well-integrated tannins. Segal has been making wine in Israel since the 1950s. Pour it alongside roasted lamb or aged hard cheeses to match its structure.
