Like many stories ours begins with the apple

Naturally, as apple lovers, surrounded by apple orchards, our spirits are made from apples. New York is the second largest apple producer in the United States, home to more than 700 apple orchards. For Upstate vodka, using 16 and 18 plates, 2-column stills, the hard cider is distilled only twice. We keep the number of distillations to a minimum to retain the natural essence of our ingredients. With distillation, more does not always equal better, as each distillation can strip away more of the original character of a spirit.

And it’s not just happening in the Big Apple

You can see, feel, and taste it across the state. There’s a reverence and demand for locally grown and raised food from our New York state farmers and producers. They supply local communities, restaurants in NYC, and the finest food establishments in the world. Among these farmers, producers, brewers, and distillers, there’s a spirit of camaraderie, not competition, and we’re proud to be part of it.

Upstate Highball

1 ½ oz Upstate Vodka
1 oz Starlino Rose Aperitivo Finish w/ Ginger beer (1 1/12 oz)
Glass: Highball
Garnish: Lemon and Ginger

Add all ingredients to an ice-filled Highball glass. Stir, and top with ginger beer. Garnish. Enjoy!
