Made at Hacienda Santa Teresa in Venezuela's Aragua Valley, where rums matured in bourbon casks are married using the solera method, each drawing blending older stock into younger. The result skews dry rather than sweet, with cocoa, toasted nuts, dried fig, and a long spiced finish. The presentation canister makes it easy to hand over as a gift.
