Overview

Venezuelan rum from Hacienda Santa Teresa in Aragua, blended from column and pot still spirit and then run through a solera — a cascade of oak casks in which older rum keeps refreshing younger. Dry for the category, with dried fig, toffee and cocoa. Good neat, and it makes a genuinely serious Old Fashioned.
