Most Port drinkers know the ruby styles — this one's white, and built for warmer sips. Sandeman blends Douro grapes (Malvasia Fina, Gouveio, Rabigato, Viosinho), aged an average of seven years in oak casks at Vila Nova de Gaia, with fermentation arrested by grape spirit in the traditional Porto method. Expect golden yellow color, candied orange zest and dried fruit on the nose, and a harmonious, persistent finish. Serve chilled, around 50-54°F, alongside mango mousse or almond cake.
