Sam Houston Small Batch Reserve is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from the Series A lineup, produced by Western Spirits Beverage Company out of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Named for the Texas statesman himself, each release is bottled in small, individually numbered batches. Expect oak, leather, and caramel up front, with dark fruit lingering underneath, then toasted grain and vanilla on the palate before wood char and baking spice settle into a warm, honey-toned medium finish. Pour it neat or over one large cube to let the caramel and spice unfold slowly.
