This Rare Collection whisky, produced in limited quantities, is distilled from a finely peated maltIt has been aged in oak casks containing wines from the South West of France. These casks give the whisky roundness, fruitiness, mellowness and notes of ripe fruit on a sherry background.
Tasting notes
Nose: Very flattering on orchard fruits and honey. In a second phase, it is the candied orange and the walnut that stand out.
Palate: Still a lot of greediness on candied fruits with a liquorish touch. The malty and toasted notes bring a great richness.
Finish: Long on red fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant) with a touch of smoke and toasted notes.
