Overview

Made from the precious nectar of the best selection of Dominican sugarcane harvested in our plantations, Barceló Imperial is the result of the dizzying dream: the ageing of our finest rum reserves. Naturally aged for up to ten years in the best climatic conditions, Barceló Imperial is an exquisite harmony of colour, fragrance and flavour for the senses.Intense coppery amber colour.Brilliant coppery amber colour. Aromas of butter cream, dried cherries, intense vanilla, pineapple jam and caramelized nuts followed by a mild entry to a dry but fruity flavour. Medium and exuberant body with great depth and balance. Finish with a flavour of carrot ice cream cake, kola nut, Mocha and a strong toasted taste that gradually fades.

Value, Truth, and Goodness

"Many years ago, I took this back from the Dominican Republic. I think it's excellent. For the best Cubra Libre ever, excellent. Or you may drink it over ice with a lime. You'll adopt the island's grin. Whatever booze store I enter gets searched, and when I locate it, I buy it. not simply a fine rum. That is the Rum. My final bottle Was Fort Worth, Texas' Tipxy."

Among the top rums!

"Among the top rums! Rums as a whole are undervalued for their complexity and variety as a spirit. They receive terrible marketing. Dominican rum is top-notch. With exquisite vanilla and cocoa flavors, this is complex. Excellent value given the price."

Get Hooked With it!

"It was a present, and I now need to track it down because it's my favorite alcoholic beverage! Extremely soft, with absolutely no sharp bite! I mean drinking it "neat" and at room temperature. In my honest opinion, unbeatable. Also no cheap sugary flavor! PURCHASE IT!!"

Memphis G. (5/5)

Low-End Rum

"This entry-level rum is the one I use as a baseline to compare with others since it has an excellent combination of sugar, honey, and caramel and is affordable. When comparing rums, I go from -5 to plus 5. I do the same with scotch, using JW black as 0 or the baseline. I give this rum a respectable plus 3."

The heaven of caramel rum.

"This one is a sure thing to work out! Although it isn't excessively sweet, it has a wonderful caramel flavor. The richness has a slight oaky flavor, too, in my opinion. Whether you mix it or drink it straight up, it's just different and enjoyable. The 50-50 mixture produces a lovely head of foam, which is why I actually prefer it with a little Diet Coke."

A Top Performer!

"It was during a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, that I tried this recipe for the first time. The smoothness and subtle vanilla and spice flavor just blew me away. Excellent rum for sipping. Painkillers, zombies, you name it—I used it on cocktails as well!"

I just enjoy drinking dark booze.

"I only enjoy drinking dark alcoholic beverages, and rum is usually my go-to choice. I actually like Ron Barcelo Rum Imperial from the Dominican Republic over some rums that cost more money. I heartily suggest Ron Barcelo Rum Imperial if you enjoy dark rum."

Totally Delectable!

"This rum is perfect for any occasion. Fruity with a pronounced carmel undertone. It tastes great on the rocks, but I prefer it with a little diet coke. I enjoy a wide variety of rums, but this one is the best! You won't regret it if you buy with confidence."

Excellent Value Despite Pricing

"Not overly sweet and fairly complex, this rum is smooth and earthy. A distilled old spirit of this kind is something I have never before bought. Just buy a bottle and drink it, that's all."

Do This In Phoenix

"This Miami-purchased rum is undoubtedly among my top three favorites. lots of sweetness, woodsy, and dried tropical fruit ( just right). It has a really pleasant sipping body."
