Tipsy Sauce - Caramel Hard Sauce
If you've never explored rhum agricole, this is a beautiful place to start. Unlike molasses-based rums, JM's Blanc is distilled straight from fresh-pressed Martinique sugarcane juice under the island's AOC, then rested at least six months in stainless steel to settle. At 50% ABV it comes through vivid and zesty, with fresh lime, honey, cane flower and a flick of white pepper. Reach for it in a classic Ti'Punch with lime and cane syrup, or any bright, grassy daiquiri.
Tasting notes
Nose: Overwhelming aromas of fresh lime, honey, and cane flower are balanced with more savory vegetal notes and a beautiful expression of anise - unique to Rhum J.M.
Palate: Round and sweet on the palate, honey and cane flowers really shine through. The stewed banana and grilled pineapple, the signature of Rhum J.M, is ever present as well as the unmistakable vegetal and mineral undertones.
