Cachaça doesn't always mean unaged and grassy — this one from Ypióca, a Ceará distillery pouring since 1846, spends at least a year resting in oak before bottling. The barrel time rounds out the sugarcane spirit into something woody and velvety, with spicy notes threading through vanilla and wood aromatics. Each bottle even arrives hand-wrapped in palm fiber by local artisans, a small nod to Ceará craft. Sip it neat to catch the oak, or shake it into a caipirinha for a deeper, more layered version of Brazil's national cocktail.
