Simple, tasty sipper

"Although this whiskey isn't particularly complicated, it has enough positive qualities that I can't dock it any points. Sweet maple may be smelled. Smooth, mellow, almost toffee-like flavor on the palate. Given the delicate palate, the finish was longer than anticipated and had just enough heat to indicate that it was still rather young. After finishing this bottle, I immediately went out and got another. I haven't mixed it; I've only ever drank it plain."

The wheated bourbon I've found is the best bargain.

"It wouldn't be accurate to describe it as a "taste alike" of Weller 12 year old, but if you enjoy the well-known black bottle spirit, you'll probably enjoy this concoction as well. Another significant advantage of this one is that it is readily accessible and reasonably priced. Definitely a recommendation."

Fantastic Gift

"We purchased this as a gift for a buddy who enjoys fine bourbon for their 50th birthday. He subsequently told us it was one of the nicest experiences he had and that he was thoroughly enjoying it. And that he would undoubtedly purchase the following bottle for himself!"

Quick and Delicious

"It's a bit faint on the nose, but there are some lasting scents. I bought my first bottle on my brother's advice, and subsequent bottles since I truly appreciate it. It is still mild on the front of the tongue, but a hint of caramel and some heat appear in the middle and back of the mouth. I normally prefer a little heat, and the finish lingers in a pleasant way. I thought I wouldn't find that because of the mashbill on this, but I wasn't disappointed and it will continue to be a staple in my bar."

An excellent wheated bourbon

"After drinking Makers with my son-in-law, I purchased this in search of a wheated bourbon. Pleasantly surprised by this's smoothness, which has a trace of coffee, a touch of spice, and, at the finish, a taste of. . . is there a term for this. . . wheatiess?"

Uneven but entertaining

"I ran upon this and had to give it a try because I'm on a wheated bourbon binge. It's ok. There wasn't much depth or smoothness to the finish, and it felt a little uneven. It wasn't as smooth for me as I had anticipated, despite the high wheat content."

Murray (3/5)

One of Weller Green's main rivals

"I had to conduct a blind taste test due to how similar it tasted to Weller Special Reserve. No difference was discernible to me. Purchase in bulk before word spreads."

Hyland (5/5)

Delicious Baby James!

"I had a great time with this bottle. Smooth and very sweet with no heat. Nevertheless, it had a robust finish for a gentleman like bourbon."

JielanHayes (5/5)

Outstanding Bourbon

"My dad loved the item that I purchased for him after hearing about it. I shared a few glasses with him, and for the price, it's a very fine bourbon."

Naji (5/5)

Simple to consume

"My friends have all requested me to get them bottles of the "Bourbon we had at your office," but since I've already had two, it's getting more difficult to find. Cheers"
