This espadín comes from San Pedro Taviche in Oaxaca, where producer Adolfo Mijangos hand-mills wild-cultivated agave and distills it in copper stills the old way. Each bottle also carries its own hand-painted alebrije, a folk-art figure brushed on by local artists, so no two look alike. Expect leather on the nose, green apple through the palate, and a charred-wood finish, landing around 45-47% ABV. Pour it neat in a copita to let those layers unfold, or shake it into a smoky margarita.
