Ponche Kuba is a Caribbean rum cream liqueur with roots dating to 1942, when Barbados-based merchant Don Jaime A. J. Sprock gathered homemade Caribbean "ponche" recipes and blended the best of them into one proprietary formula. That original recipe is still crafted today at Mount Gay Distilleries in Barbados, combining aged rum with cream and warm spice. Expect a thick, velvety pour with vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, and caramelized sugar riding atop a gentle rum backbone.
