Pommery didn't just make a Champagne — in 1874 the house is credited with inventing the dry "Brut" style itself, and Brut Royal is the modern heir to that idea. Grapes come from roughly 40 villages across the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, blending nearly equal thirds Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, cellar-aged about three years. Expect pale yellow color, citrus and white flower lift, a whisper of red berry, and a round, lingering finish. Pour it wide and let it open.
