Overview

Meet the top of Poggio Torselli's range: a single-vineyard Chianti Classico Gran Selezione from the Montecapri plot in Tuscany, 100% Sangiovese grown on marine-rich clay soils at 200 meters. Fermented with native yeasts and given a long month on the skins, it pours a deep ruby edging toward garnet, with rose, juniper, sweet spice, tea leaf and dried herbs woven through fine tannins and well-knit oak. Pour it alongside braised or roasted meats, game, or mushroom-and-truffle dishes.
