Named for Gabriela Mistral, the Chilean poet who became Latin America's first Nobel laureate in Literature, this pisco carries some poetry of its own. Distilled in the high-desert Elqui Valley from Muscat of Alexandria and Pedro Jimenez grapes, it rests in medium-toast American oak for one to three years, which turns it amber and coaxes out dried fruit, plum, raisin, toasted hazelnut, and a whisper of vanilla and caramel. Sip it neat, or let it lift a pisco sour.
