Overview

Barolo doesn't rush, and neither does Pietro Rinaldi. This 100% Nebbiolo comes from hand-picked vineyards in Verduno, on clay-and-marl slopes built for the grape, then spends 18 months in large oak casks before resting another 6-8 months in bottle. The result is bright ruby with aromas of dark berries and stewed plum, structured around gentle tannins and a long finish. Pour it with braised beef or a rustic wild boar ragù.
