Pietro Rinaldi has farmed the hills outside Alba for four generations, and their Barbera comes straight from the Madonna di Como vineyard — limestone-and-clay slopes at 280-340 meters, facing southwest. It ferments in temperature-controlled steel, then rests a full year in stainless tanks before bottling, a method built to keep the fruit forward and the finish clean.
