Overview

Argante Langhe Nebbiolo DOC comes from Pietro Rinaldi, a fourth-generation family winery based in Alba, in Italy's Piedmont region. This is 100% Nebbiolo grown on southwest-facing hillside vineyards over calcareous clay marl, fermented in stainless steel with frequent pump-overs, then aged 12 months in 500-liter oak tonneaux. Expect a light ruby-garnet wine with intense rose and violet perfume, ripe cherry and raspberry, spice and mineral undertones, and a long, elegantly balanced finish. Pour it with risotto, agnolotti, or roasted meats.
