Peerless High Rye Bourbon Whiskey comes from Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. in Louisville, Kentucky — distilled, aged, and bottled on-site using a mash bill built around a notably higher rye content than the distillery's standard bourbon. Like every Peerless release, it's never chill-filtered and bottled at barrel proof with no water added. Expect a savory nose of seasoned oak, leather, and citrus over cedar and dark fruit, a palate of candied oak and charred orange, and a spice-driven finish of cinnamon, leather, and tobacco. Pour it neat to catch the rye spice, or over one large cube.
