Overview

Palavani's Khikhvi comes from Kakheti, Georgia's oldest wine region, where this native grape is fermented and aged in qvevri — large clay vessels buried underground, a method practiced there for thousands of years. Extended skin contact gives the wine its amber-gold color and layered character: dried apricot, orange peel, honeycomb, and a savory, tannin-textured finish. Pour it with roasted poultry, aged cheese, or khachapuri for a true taste of Georgian tradition.
