Padre Azul's Extra Anejo is where 100% blue Weber agave, grown roughly eight years then slow-cooked the traditional way, turns patient and deep. It rests 39 months in bourbon barrels, arriving amber with aromas of coffee, burnt caramel, vanilla and toasted nuts, then dried cherry and apricot. The palate leans into vanilla, chocolate, cinnamon and dried fruit, finishing long and smooth. Additive-free and crafted by a female master distiller in Jalisco. Pour it neat and let it unwind slowly.
