This is one and only

"I haven't bought any other brands of tequila since this one was initially suggested to me. In my "humble" view, the tequila is as good as or better than any of the more expensive brands, and the price is simply too low to be true. You should not let the low price fool you into believing that this is a lower quality product because the first taste will show you that it is a superb product whether it is combined or served straight."

Excellent tequila at a reasonable cost.

"I haven't had any tequila in the last ten years. Cabo Wabo used to be my go-to reposado. After reading some internet evaluations, I discovered Olmeca Altos when searching for an excellent mixing and sipping tequila that wouldn't break the wallet. Although I haven't tried all the alternatives at this price range, this tequila is great for mixing and sipping."

Tequila should have a clean, aromatic taste.

"Tequila should taste and smell like this Olmeca Altos Reposado. It has a robust nose and is smooth and crisp. I drink it neat. When compared to what I already have, it is most similar to Tapatio Anejo, but better and purer. Although I enjoy Herradura Reposado, it has a faint "chemical gasoline" scent compared to Altos. This might not be for you if you enjoy the caramel-sweet of Cazadores Anejo."

Even by sipping, this is fantastic.

"I've been drinking this for a while now, and I must admit that even unmixed, it tastes really excellent. Simply because even the most expensive brands taste like jet fuel blended with some sort of agave syrup, I usually combine tequila with a little orange juice. Since this is hard liquor, I still experience that, but this one does it more smoothly than the others. I'm picking up a lot of vanilla notes and a faint hint of oak. It's excellent, especially when you take into account how affordable it is."

Pernod Ricard makes excellent 100% agave aged tequila.

"The Altos blanco and this reposado are both really affordable. The process used to create this 100% agave tequila is the same one used to create Patron. A tahona, a sizable stone wheel used to crush the agave and extract the juice before fermentation, is used to make some of the tequila. The two ingredients are combined to create the finished product, which is then aged in oak barrels and bottled for sale. Some of it is manufactured from shredded agave. Retail price for the Patron reposado is $58 + tax. Try the Altos and save yourself some cash. Both delicious and excellent as a mixer for cocktails."

Tangy Tequila

"I take this with a mixer. It stands out in the greatest manner possible because of that one extra flavor. My favorite restaurant makes my margaritas with fresh lime and orange juice. That is how it is."

Geis24 (5/5)

Absolute favorite tequila for me

"My wife and I enjoy taking shots, and although we've tried a variety of brands, Altos Reposado is by far our favorite. There is very minimal burn and a really lovely non-medicinal taste. Such a smooth ride. the top, in my view"

Gaylord C. (5/5)

By far the best combination of quality and value

"Olmeca Altos Reposado is by far the greatest option in terms of quality and cost-benefit; you can't go wrong with it. Both the price and the mouthwatering flavor are incredible."

Bryant G. (5/5)

Sharper than I anticipated

"I relied on the rating, but I was let down. For a reposado, it was quite sharp on the first sip. Although I'm not an expert, I don't think this is the best way to drink tequila. perhaps in a cocktail."

Belle M. (2/5)

Do not waste your money on other types of tequila.

"My evaluation is not a review; rather, it is a recommendation that you taste this tequila for $42. 00 and then make your own judgment. I guarantee that you won't regret it at all."
