The first American whiskey was rye whiskey. Our Double Oak Straight Rye Whiskey isn’t your Great Uncle Jonas’s dusty old world whiskey, though. We age our whiskey at least 2 years, then add extra oak staves to our barrels for a deeper flavor, darker color, and a fuller, more balanced rye whiskey. Our 95% rye whiskey is all the strong, robust, flavor you expect from a rye, but it’s unexpectedly well balanced. We think you will be as pleased with the outcome as we are. Cheers!
