Old Forester - Birthday Bourbon 2025 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
ĀThe Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2025 is a 12-year-old, 92-proof bourbon that features a significant change for the series: a sweet mash process instead of the traditional sour mash. This creates a unique flavor profile with notes of herbal tea, cardamom, and tropical fruit on the nose, a silky and rich palate with vanilla, citrus, and clove, and a finish of candied apple, chai spice, and leather.
Barrel details: Distilled from 210 barrels filled on April 5, 2013, aged in Warehouse K (1st and 5th floors).
Release: Released in September 2025 in honor of founder George Garvin Brown's birthday.
Nose: Herbal tea, cardamom, green apple, tropical fruit, oak, vanilla, and spice.
Palate: Silky, rich oak and vanilla, balanced by sweet citrus and clove.
Finish: Candied apple, leather, and chai spice.
