Crafted in collaboration with prominent ramblers & creators, the Anthro Series is a collaborative product line of one-of-a-kind whiskeys created by one-of-a-kind people. This version was curated by Forrie J. Smith, an actor known for playing the rugged ranchman Lloyd Pierce on the hit show Yellowstone. He is a tried and true cowboy with many years of rodeo experience under his belt. This barrel proof bourbon was finished with a coffee infused American Oak spire. It's bottled at 116 Proof.
Nose: A prominent note of ripe red apple comes to the front. It is followed by a sweet buttery note that is overtaken by Caramel Macchiato. This is accompanied by a hint of iced Christmas spice cookie.
Palate: My first tastes were quite sweet. Iwhite pepper for a bit of spiciness. There is a bit of citrus flavor, much like a mandarin orange and Maraschino cherry. The spice notes hit with the bitterness of nutmeg and a hint of cardamon.
