Nueveuno's reposado takes an extra step most reposados skip: after resting in American oak, it moves into French oak for a second stretch, a slow double-barrel process from a family estate in Amatitán, Jalisco that's been growing Blue Weber agave for generations. The agave is cooked low in clay ovens before distillation, which shows up in the glass as caramel, vanilla, dried fruit, and a spice-laced finish that lingers. Pour it neat to catch the oak, or build it into a rounder, richer margarita.
