Cachaça that shuttles between two very different barrels. Colibri (Portuguese for hummingbird) is part of Novo Fogo's Two Woods Series: this organic Brazilian sugarcane spirit is moved back and forth over years between repurposed oak and amburana, a native Brazilian teak. The oak lends vanilla and toffee; the amburana brings cinnamon and toasted chestnut, with banana and passionfruit underneath and a snickerdoodle-cookie finish. Bottled at 42% ABV. Sip it neat to catch the spice, or build it into an aged-cachaça Old Fashioned.
