This Sweet Vermouth is incredibly underrated.

"Although NP is most renowned for its dry vermouth, I feel that the sweet vermouth is incredibly underappreciated, especially considering the cost. I adore Antica Formula and Cocchi Torino. Admire them. However, they are far more expensive. The NP sweet is competitive in its own right."

This is incredibly flat.

"Since I hadn't tried any other vermouths, I had been using this one for Manhattans until recently. I've realized that skimping on this brand (Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth) was a bad idea now that I've invested a little more money in a better spirit. When compared to a finer version of this spirit, this vermouth's flavor is uninteresting and bland. I suggest investing a little more money and using a vermouth that is considerably more flavorful and well-rounded."

Most suitable vermouth for Manhattans

"Since my undergraduate days, I've been a Manhattan drinker. There are several sweet vermouths available, but they are extremely expensive. For 30 years, Noilly Pratt has been my preferred vermouth. The larger bottle is a particularly excellent deal. Choose this if you purchase sweet vermouth."

Unlikely - Usually French

"If you want to use it as a mixer, it is definitely NOT the best option. Negronis and Manhattans should be avoided. It resembles a Dubonnet Rouge a lot. It tastes finest when served by itself over ice. lacks the depth or bitterness required to blend effectively with alcoholic beverages like bourbon or gin. I think it's "sickly and thinly sweet. " similar to what I get from Dolin."

Noilly Prat aids with digestion.

"Very courteous and kind staff, however your suppliers are terrible. My one and only drink, a glass of Noilly Prat red, which I consume every night before supper, is constantly running out. . . (I am senior and have noticed a great difference when I don't indulge; the herbs employed in the production of this aperitif reportedly have considerable digestive benefits. ) Sometimes accompanied by my youthful neighbor who also enjoys it, I buy 4 bottles every two weeks. Is keeping up with all of this really so difficult?"

The ideal vernouth for a Manhattan

"My preferred beverage is a Manhattan. The BEST Manhattan is made with Noilly Prat Sweet Vermouth, Makers Mark Bourbon, and a sprinkle of bitters."

A Wonderful Complement to its Extra-Dry Brother

"Noilly Prat Rouge Vermouth is incredibly well-balanced and sweet, and it uses the same ingredients as Noilly Prat Extra Dry (plus five more, such saffron and quinine). Noilly Prat Rouge Vermouth is delicious on the rocks and a perfect addition to traditional cocktails like the Manhattan and the Negroni. I'm going out on a limb and offering two recipes that substantially benefit from this rouge vermouth because I'm presuming the majority of people already know how to create a Manhattan and/or a Negroni. THE BOULEVARDIER- 1 1/2 ounce bourbon- 1 ounce Campari- 1 ounce Noilly Prat Rouge VermouthStir all three ingredients in a cocktail glass filled with ice, strain into a cocktail glass of choice, and garnish with a cherry. PARK AVENUE- 2 ounces gin (Plymouth or Old Tom Gin is recommended)- 3/4 ounce pineapple juice- 3/4 ounce Noilly Prat Rouge Vermouth- 1/4 ounce orange curacaoShake long and hard in an iced cocktail shaker, and strain in an ungarnished cocktail glass."

Enjoy It Cold

"Enjoy a cool glass of this delicious French Noilly Prat sweet vermouth. It is soft, mellow, and sweet. (Avoid straight Italian vermouths; they are unpleasant and abrasive. )"

Among the top vermouths

"This is definitely the greatest option you can make for Manhattan because it offers enough of taste and a reasonable price."

The NOILLY PRATT VERMOUTH is pretty lovely

"Since it has such a beautiful, rich flavor, this is the only sweet vermouth I will ever use in my Manhattan."
