This rye has a real story behind it: Brooklyn rapper Marlon Craft stumbled on a bottle of his mom's stashed whiskey one late night in 2019, wrote a song about it, and New York Distilling Co. turned the moment into a bottle. The rye, corn, and malted barley mash rests at least two years in charred oak, landing on spice, oak, and caramel with a touch of sweetness. It comes from the Brooklyn distillery reviving the borough's pre-Prohibition rye tradition. Pour it neat, or build it into an Old Fashioned.
