Mucha Liga's Reposado wears its personality right on the bottle: a hand-shaped luchador mask made in Juanacatlán, Jalisco, where a cooperative of eighty agave farming families runs one of just two distilling co-ops in Mexico. The blue weber agave, grown in nutrient-rich La Ciénega soil, gets six months in ex-bourbon casks before bottling at 40% ABV. Expect caramel on the nose, vanilla and stewed agave with ginger and cola spice on the palate, finishing oaky with a whiff of smoke. Pour it neat or over one big ice cube.
