This honkaku shochu from Munemasa Shuzo in Ureshino, Saga, is single-distilled from two-rowed barley, black koji rice, and freshly steamed yabukita tea leaves co-fermented right into the mash — no infusions, just the real thing. Expect matcha, passion fruit, a whisper of nori and cacao, and a buttery, lingering finish. Bottled at 35% ABV. Sip it neat, over ice, or in a low-key highball with soda.
