Tipsy Sauce - Caramel Hard Sauce
Milam & Greene sources five-year-old rye from an undisclosed Indiana distillery, then carries it to the company's Blanco, Texas rickhouse for a finish in used Port wine casks, where the Texas climate drives flavor deep into the wood before batching and proofing. The result pours ruby-hued: cinnamon, dark brown sugar, and grape on the nose give way to raisin, rye spice, and vanilla on the palate, with a lingering dried-fruit finish. Sip it neat by the fire, or pour it alongside dark chocolate or aged cheddar.
