Middle West Spirits triple-pot-distills a mash of dark pumpernickel rye, Ohio soft red winter wheat, corn and 2-row barley, then bottles it at barreling strength (110 proof) after less than a day in fresh American oak. The nose runs sweet and spicy: creamy butterscotch, rye grain, cracked pepper. Sip it neat to meet the grain head-on, or build a bright, spirit-forward Old Fashioned.
