Behind this bottle is Gloria Collell, a young Barcelona winemaker who teamed up with Freixenet to bottle Spain's playful side. Mia starts as pressed Moscato must, fermented slowly in stainless steel, then sealed for a second cool fermentation until it hits 7% ABV — a whisper of Tempranillo joins the blend for color and depth. Expect peach, apricot, and orange blossom on the nose, with a sweet-tart, bubbly finish. Pour it chilled alongside spicy tacos, nachos, or something dessert-shaped.
Tasting notes
This sparkling wine combines freshness and body, and is elegant and inviting, delightfully fruity with hints of floral notes. It is well balanced in terms of sweetness and acidity and has a delicious, bubbly finish.
